What We Did Last Night:
We enjoyed a great dinner with Captain Vasta in Prime 7. Some great conversation between two Captains. He promised the four of us a private bridge tour when we are docked in Cartagena, Columbia, on the 22nd.
I had my usual ribeye. With it are truffle fries and asparagus.
Then my usual popcorn sundae.
We finished dinner after the production show, "My Revolution", had started but the girls went to see it anyway. I retired.
What We Did Today:
The ship is constantly being cleaned by the crew members. This is Nana who was cleaning suite doors.
Well, we were up at 7:30 getting ready for our 8:00 arrival of room service breakfast. We are still sailing enroute to Puntarenas for our noon time docking there. For a review of the historical and background information, you will have to go back to my February 28th post when we are here earlier.
Jane, Melissa, and I will be going on a tour at 12:15 which is scheduled to last 5 1/2 hours. This means I will not have enough time to put today's photos on this posting. Tomorrow is a sea day so will have plenty of time to put them on tomorrow's post. After all, it will be about time for cocktail hour when I return and will have to rush to get ready for that!!! So our tour today is titled, "Tropical Train Ride and Exotic Mangrove Glide". I am sure I have done this tour previously but cannot find the photos I took back then. Mangroves are trees that can grow in water so the "glide" part will be in an amphibious vehicle through canals lined with these mangroves looking for wildlife living there.
Going to be a hot day out there as forecast to be up to 94 degrees in the afternoon.
This is the pier extending out from shore that we are docking at today.
Small 5 piece band playing "Anchors Away" as we docked.
This evening between 7:00 and 9:00 there will be another "Grand Deck BBQ". We did this last segment and I had photos of it posted on the March 6th post when in Cabo. It truly is something remarkable the way they transform the pool deck into a dining venue under the stars. The buffet is awesome to say the least. I highly recommended Jane & Melissa to experience it tonight. Rebecca and I will dine inside in Compass Rose where it is air conditioned however.
Entertainment tonight is the movie, "At Eternity's Gate" on the big screen in the theater. Pretty sure we will not be going to it. Ship sails at 10:00 pm heading for the Panama Canal transit but we will be a sea all day tomorrow.
