DAY 25--AT SEA OFF THE MEXICAN MAINLAND

Beautiful day here 50 miles off the west coast of Mexico heading east southeast towards Acapulco.  Smooth seas, sunny skies, and temperature is 77 this afternoon.  It is amazing how different this group of passengers are as opposed to the last segment passengers.  For one thing this group is slightly younger.  They are more active and all the pool deck lounge chairs are occupied with sun worshipers, a real dream for dermatologists!  They are also a noisier bunch with bar lounges full pre-dinner every evening.
I slept in this morning but did get up to do my 4 mile walk on jogging track prior to lunch.  The theme for today's lunch at the pool grill was a Mexican buffet.  Even Rebecca went up with me today for a taco and some guacamole.  I had a full plate unfortunately!!  After publishing this post I plan on going out and sitting on our balcony and enjoy the nice day.

What We Did Last Night:
We met Jane and Melissa in the Meridian Lounge for pre-dinner cocktails.  They went to enjoy a Prime 7 dinner.
Rebecca and I enjoyed the company of Janina (on left), the Executive Concierge, and Rose Mary, the Head of Housekeeping.  We have cruised with both before, especially Rose Mary.  It was a GREAT evening.
I had the chicken Kiev with scallops and some veggies.
After dinner we did go to the show featuring a magician instead of the production show.  That has been rescheduled to later in cruise do to an injury to one of the cast members.  Anyway, this magician had to be the absolutely worse EVER.  It was embarrassing to watch this old, has been.  We walked out.

What We Did Today:
Think I pretty much covered that above.  Breaking news on Fox News is all US Boeing 737 Max jets have been grounded.  We are scheduled to fly out of Miami on the 25th on a 737-800 Max Hopefully they have a software fix prior.
This evening we will have pre-dinner cocktails in our usual place, Meridian Lounge.  Following that we will dine in Compass Rose where I have made a request of Chef Dino to prepare some French fried soft shell crabs for our appetizer.  The show tonight is a return of the comedian, Ritch Shydner.
We will be docking again in Acapulco at 8:00 am tomorrow.  Jane, Melissa, and I are going on the tour to see the famous cliff divers.
