DAY 28--PUERTO QUETZAL, GUATEMALA (AGAIN)

We were docked in Puerto Quetzal by 8:00 this morning.  We stopped here two weeks ago as you will recall on our way up to LA from Santiago and I did the macadamia nut farm tour.  Jane, Melissa, and I are going on an 8 hour tour up to see Antigua.  Most all the other tours are long like this one.  I have been there a few times and probably would not go today but feel I should go with the girls.  (Even though I did not do a very good time of keeping them safe in Acapulco)  It is a 90 minute bus ride each way so not looking forward to the bus time.  Antigua is a very nice place to visit as you will be seeing in my photos.  However, I won't have enough time to get them ready to put on today's post.  Today's tour includes lunch and to see a church.  Our Aussie friend used to call the tours down here "ABC" tours--Another Bloody Church Tour.  Unfortunately, Peter is no longer with us in this world.  There will be other places to visit there.  One of my favorites is the "Jade Factory".  NOT
Not sure why they call it a factory as it's a jewelry store!  Wonder what kind of kick back they give tour company for stopping here for 40 minutes.

What We Did Last Night:
Dinner in Compass Rose with Rose Mary, Head of Housekeeping, and Stephane, F&B Director.  Of course Jane and Melissa also joined us.
                                                          Chef Rick with Chef Dino
Everyone at table had this appetizer.  Salmon tartar on a rice cake.  It was wonderful!!
Then my double order of miso-glazed sea bass.
What Jane looks like now.  Rebecca gave her some makeup to make her black eye not as noticeable.
Her right wrist looks nasty and very swollen.

What We Did Today:
Jane, Melissa, and I went on an 8 hour tour to Antigua.  It turned into a real adventure that you will want to hear about.  I do not have time to finish the over 100 photos I took today or do writing as it is about cocktail hour and I need a drink badly!!  I am scheduled for another 8 hour tour again tomorrow.  May not go however.  I will post photos on a future posting for sure.  You will want to see them.
Last night I asked Chef Dino to prepare veal parmesan for the four of us tonight.  I'm hungry after the long day in a bus.
Tonight's show in the theater is another production show, "My Revolution", with music by Beatles and others back then.  We went to it last segment and it was good.
We sailed at 5:00 pm for our next port of Corinto, Nicaragua.  We will be docking there by 8:00 tomorrow morning.
