Hope everyone is having a very nice Sunday. Once again we are having calm seas last night and today. We are still cruising off the coast of Peru heading north westerly at 12 knots/14 mph. It is 77F outside at noon. I went out on jogging track this morning at 8:00 am to do my 4 mile fast walk. That takes me an hour. Rebecca went to gym this morning.
This is what it looks like back home. Looks to be another foot or more of snow. Right side of drive was clear when we left. Ron, our good neighbor sent us this photo. He said he snow blowed our drive 5 times last week. Checked and it was 5 degrees there this morning.
What We Did Last Night:
This is Jackie and Dennis Ross from Washington state.
Marian, our sommelier in Prime 7 last night.
Prime 7 chargers
We enjoyed a chardonnay and California zinfandel.
My ribeye. Chef Pieter brought out 3 uncooked ones for me to select the one I wanted him to grill. Rebecca had a nice filet and both were perfectly medium rare.
If you remember from our first night in Prime 7 I bitched because the popcorn sundaes were smaller. I asked for a large one last night and got it!!
Unfortunately the popcorn was stuck together and I made a disaster out of it.
After dinner we went to the show featuring the ventriloquist, Don Bryan. He is amazing and we really enjoyed his show. We had seen him perform on another cruise.
What We Did Today:
The executive chef and his team set up a Sunday Brunch Extravaganza in Compass Rose which is from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm today. I went down at 10:00 when they opened the doors to take these photos. Looks too good to eat but will do down later to try some of it. Wanted to take the photos before people messed it up. This should make you mouth water!!
They just opened the doors to Compass Rose for the Sunday Brunch. I wanted to get these photos before they were picked over.
Nice shrimp and crab claws
Sushi
Fruits
Egg benedict already prepared or they would cook eggs to order

Fat pills
Honey roasted ham
Making crapes
Will cook eggs to order here

Massimo, our General Manager and good friend.
At 6:00 pm there is a Seven Seas Cocktail Party in the theater. The SSS is a "frequent cruiser" program much like the airlines have (ie, American's AAdvantage program). At over 600 nights on Regent now we are at the "Titanium" level. With each level comes more benefits. As I mentioned yesterday we will be joining Captain Vasta at his table for dinner at 7:00. Tonight's menu includes our very favorite Regent entree, miso sea bass. It always melts on your mouth! Stephane, the Food & Beverage Manager promised me I could have two pieces. LOL
At 8:00 they will be showing "The Academy Awards" broadcast live in the theater. We could care less about this as usually turns into a platform for these "spoiled Hollywood types" to bash our President. We will retire to our suite and was an old Ronald Reagan movie.
Here I am in sunny (but cold) SoCal eating my one egg white omelet and I open the blog to all these gorgeous pictures of food! It is good to know that Prime 7 will super-size the popcorn sundae. Enjoy the Miso Glazed Sea Bass - yumm! Cathi
